You can create a subdomain with your domain name by logging into your Yournic control panel.
Adding a subdomain is a two step process. The first step is to add this to the ‘Cpanel’ domain control panel.
Step 1
. Enter the subdomain in the “subdomain” box which you wish to create
. Please make sure the domain name, with which your subdomain will be associated, is selected
. A directory name, the same as your subdomain prefix, will automatically appear; although you can change this if you want.
. Click “Create” buttonYou have now successfully created the new subdomain in the Cpanel control panel.
Let’s move to step 2 now
Step 2
Now that the subdomain is set up on the Cpanel the next step is to create the dns records for the subdomain so it is visible across the world.
. Please click on “Dashboard” at the top to go back to main Dashboard of Yournic Control panel.
. Please go to the “Manage Domains”
. Once there please click on the “manage” icon opposite the domain you want to manage the DNS records for and finally “Manage DNS” in the DNS section.. In the next screen please add the subdomain to the “Host name (A)” list with the ip address of the server you want to host the subdomain (usually the same as the main website).
You have now successfully set up the sub domain.
