How to create an additional FTP account via cPanel?

You can create additional FTP accounts on the selected directory by logging into your Yournic control panel.

This is where you manage your FTP accounts comprehensively. To create a new FTP account, please perform the following easy steps

1- Enter the new “FTP login” in the box
2- Enter your new password into the “Password” box.
3- Confirm your new password in the “Password (again)” box.
4- Enter the selected “Directory” name i.e root directory, subdirectory etc (the directory name which you wish to access through these FTP details)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

For a particular folder access:

If you enter a directory in the the public_html path, eg. public_html/(select the directory name) in the directory box, then the user of this FTP account will only have access to the public_html/(select the desired directory name) sub-directory, and all folders under it.

For ENTIRE website access:

To give the user access to the entire website, you would delete everything after the public_html. This is where you can create a new FTP password for root directory (In case if you forget your FTP details)

5- You can put a quota limit on this FTP account if you wish or keep it as it is – unlimited

When ready click “Create FTP Account”

You have successfully created the additional FTP account on the selected directory.

Useful Tip:-

You can also perform different tasks there according to your requirements, such as changing password, changing quota, deleting FTP account and configuring FTP Client.
