What to do if you get spam from yourself?

In some cases a person can receive an email from themselves that they do not remember sending, it is possible in these cases that this is a spam email they did not send. If this happens then the first step is to ensure that you change your password immediately.

If this has not worked, then this means that the person sending the email did not send it using your email address. They are in fact using a different email address but have forged your email address in the from section of their email setup. This means that when they send you an email, it gives you the impression that it was sent by your email address. In this situation it is outside of our control so it is hard to stop, however if you have any further queries about this, please contact our support team via our Livechat service.
