You can do the following things to block up to 95% of spam emails that could come into your email account:
Decoy Email Address.
We recommend giving out your personal email address to your friends and family only. If you are going to give out an email address to the public such as you would via forums or chat rooms, we recommend you use a public email service such as gmail and Yahoo! email account. We recommended using a hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo email account when you need to give out an email address to the public because when you are using these free email accounts you can still protect your personal email account and still received emails from the public without compromising your personal email account. The free email service providers will also have junk mail filters that catch some of the unsolicited messages.
Email filters
You can also set up your own email filters via Email clients such as Outlook or Thunderbird. Email clients also allow you to mark any email that is you believe to be junk/spam and the email client will remember the senders email address and then move them to the junk folder. You can also set up rules or filters that will automatically send spam emails to the junk/spam folder.
Spam Blockers Software.
On the Market, you can buy certain software that can help you minimise spam emails going into your software. These pieces of software help your computer to monitor Spam emails coming into your email account. Some are free but some you would need to pay for.
What do Yournic do to block spam emails.
Yournic servers monitor every email that comes into our server and blocks almost all spam emails.
The emails that do get through will then be sent to every email account and if you want you can then add additional filtering by adding your own filters on every email account.
