To host a website and email services for your domain, you would need to create a subscription first via the control panel. You would need to do this if you have an Ultimate or Reseller package with us.
How to create a subscription for a domain name.
If you have a reseller or ultimate hosting package you can create a subscription that will create a new control panel with separate details which can then be used to host a website.
Please follow these steps to create a subscription for a domain:
- Log into your control panel.
- On the left hand side, under Hosting services, please click on Subscriptions
- Click on Add New Subscription.
- A new window will appear asking you to fill in the domain information. Please input the following information in the following boxes.
- Domain name – input the domain name that you want to create the physical hosting for e.g. example.com
NOTE: Do not input www as this is done for you.
- Username – please input a username for your FTP details.
- Password and repeat password. – input a password for your FTP credentials.
- Tick box – when you are creating the subscription, you would see a tick box that would take you to the limits and customization for the domain parameters after you click the Ok icon. If you want to use the default settings please untick the box.
- Please click on the Ok Icon
- Once the subscription has been created, you will be returned to the main subscription page and you would be able to view the subscription that you have created.
